About Us

Mission

Lionheart Consulting’s mission is to support small businesses in becoming more productive and profitable. We develop strategies and implement systems to improve the attitudes, skills and capabilities of employees. Anchored in kindness, integrity, transparency and a positive mindset, we encourage and support business owners to make bold and courageous change to propel their teams and business forward.

Why We’re Passionate About Small Business

If you are a small business owner it’s probably because you took a leap of faith and nurtured your zone of genius. Your talents and business grew to the point that you needed to hire staff to keep up with demand. You’ve built something you’re proud of and want to protect and nurture it. What you didn’t know was that managing staff would be the hardest thing you have to do for your business to thrive. We created Lionheart Consulting to ensure small businesses have the support they need to be successful. Our goal is to ensure your continued success and to reduce the stress and overwhelm of managing employees.

Our Approach

Our approach to HR solutions is in a positive, purposeful and prudent way. We also believe that friendly and firm can coexist. What you focus on you create more of – so as a business owner, are you focusing on what’s going well? Are you celebrating your teams’ success however small? Are you modeling the way for your employees to focus on the right things? If you only focus on pointing out mistakes and frustrations, you’ll get more mistakes and frustrations. We help business owners create appropriate boundaries, understand what motivates their employees and make courageous decisions to improve the effectiveness of their leadership style and drive business results.

“I love a transformation. It’s painful. It’s messy. It’s hard. But so worth it in the end. It’s turning chaos into consistency, or a dysfunctional team into a high functioning team. It’s kind of like losing weight; you have to be disciplined, focused and give yourself a little grace throughout the process. It’s about progress, not perfection.”
